I wrote this song sitting on my bed, in a tiny top floor bedroom of a cluttered share house in Sydney’s inner west, flooded with afternoon sun, where I’d run away to after the break up. The song was written as a stream of consciousness, finding words to untangle the feeling in my stomach, realising that the relationship that I’d just walked away from was all that I wanted now..
